We’re excited to tell you about the important points from our recent August Monthly Meeting at Sambahayan Consumers Cooperative. During this event, we happily welcomed five new members to our cooperative: Mrs. Bethany Acoba, Mr. Eldwin Baylon, Mr. Christian Wayne Dayo, Mr. Dennis Enriquez, and Mr. Ramon Plaza. Having them join us makes our cooperative community stronger and more diverse!
Progress in Operations and Product Variety: In the last 8 months, our cooperative has greatly improved how we work. We’re happy to say that we’ve added new types of products to our offerings. These new items show how committed we are to meeting the different needs of our members and giving them more choices that match what they like.
Financial Strength and Cooperative Cash Management: We’re happy to share that our cooperative is in a strong financial position. This accomplishment comes from all members who are working together to handle our money carefully. The members’ important support and active involvement really help keep our cooperative strong and growing.
Also, we’re excited to announce that our accounting committee is done with the creation of the Cooperative Cash Management policy. This policy shows how serious we are about looking after our money. With this policy, we’re making sure we handle the cooperative funds with care and good judgment. This helps keep our finances stable and opens up more chances for us to do even better.
Better Online System: Our cooperative’s online system has been improved a lot. Now, finding our products online is super easy. Members can easily see what we offer, check their buying history, and watch how their invested money grows – all through our better online platform.
IDs for Easy Shopping: To make shopping smoother for the members, we already released the members’ new member ID cards. These IDs are connected to our online system and can be scanned at our physical store. The members will just show their scannable ID and enjoy a hassle-free shopping experience.
We’re truly excited about the good changes happening in our cooperative and how every member helps create a strong sense of community. Our August Monthly Meeting was a way for us to talk about these updates, share thoughts, and build stronger bonds. We’re looking forward to more teamwork and growth in the coming months.
